BOOKINGS

What kind of payments do you accept?

-House of Posh Miami only accepts online payments. When you book an appointment your debit/credit card will be charged the deposit. Once your appointment is complete, the remaining balance will be charged. House of Posh Miami does NOT accept cash. 20% gratuity is automatically added to your total service charge. No need to tip your stylist. We have you covered!

 

Can I book in advance?

-Yes, you can! You can book up to a year in advance.

 

Can you service a group?

-Absolutely. When booking your services, you can enter the exact quantity of your group. 

 

Do you travel?

-Yes. House of Posh Miami is 100% mobile. This means we come to YOU. Making your getting-ready process easy, convenient, and simple. 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

-If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please let us know at least four hours in advance by phone (1-800-481-4809) or email (contact@houseofposhmiami.com) to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within four hours of your appointment will be charged 50% of your appointment. Cancellations made within an hour of your appointment and no shows will be charged the full amount of your appointment.

 

Do I need to submit a deposit in order to book an appointment?

-Yes. Deposits are required to complete your booking and are completed using a secure payment processing system. Your personal information is private and secured. House of Posh Miami does not have access to the details of your debit/credit card. 

 

Is my deposit a separate amount from the service price?

-No. Your deposit is 50% of the total service amount. The remaining balance is paid at the end of your appointment with the debit/credit card you initially entered to book your appointment.

MAKEUP

How early can you do my makeup?

-House of Posh Miami takes appointments as early as 5 am. Accommodations can be made. Email houseofposhmiami@gmail.com to discuss specialty time slots. 

 

How long does a makeup appointment take?

-45 mins to an hour.

 

Should I do a trial?

-I recommend trials to brides and any client that wants to ensure what their makeup will look like the day of their event.

-Every single member of our team use high-grade, professional products. We pride ourselves on being the best in our fields and in order to do so we use the best products on the market. 

 

Will my makeup last all night?

-Absolutely! We know how important your events are that's why we use professional, lasting products. From the dinner table to the dance floor, we got you covered!

 

How should I prepare for my makeup appointment?

-Your face should be makeup-free, cleansed, exfoliated and moisturized before House of Posh Miami arrives. 

HAIR

My hair falls flat quickly and I'm not sure doing my hair will be worth it.

-House of Posh Miami uses the best hair products and hot tools on the market. We guarantee, your hairstyle will last.

 

How long does a hair appointment take?

-45 mins to an hour but accommodations can be made.

How should I prepare for my hair appointment?

-If you're planning on doing a blowout or prefer for your hair to be freshly blown out before styling, wash your hair 15 minutes before your appointment start time. House of Posh Miami has an extensive list of services however a hair wash is not something we offer just yet.

AIRBRUSH TANNING

How long will my tan last?

-Your tan is guaranteed to last 9 days. That's a week and 3 days! You can book your airbrush tan appointment here .

 

How long does a tan appointment take?

-45 mins to an hour but accommodations can be made.

 

I have sensitive skin, will the tanning products irritate my skin?

-No. The tanning products we use is geared to clients will normal to sensitive skin. This includes skin condition like psoriasis, eczema, and melanoma. We understand how important your health is. It is our number one priority to ensure you feel good in your tan.

 

How do I know which spray tan color to choose?

-Simple. Fair skin should select light, Medium skin should select medium, and deep skin should select dark. This is an outline of what would work with your natural color. However, it's all about preference. If you want an ultra dark and glowy tan, choose dark!

 

I have an event tonight, what spray tan should I choose?

-You should choose the express tan service! You can book your express tan service here. The express tan only needs two hours to develop. In the meantime, you can pick your outfit, do your nails and rinse off before your event. Your tan will look beautiful and fully developed. 

 

How long should I wait to shower after my tan application?

-For the regular tan solution, you should wait 6-7 hours. Rinse but do NOT use any harsh soaps. For the express tan, wait two hours. 

 

How should I prepare for my tan appointment?

-An hour prior to your appointment start time you should shower, shave and exfoliate. These three easy steps will improve the overall appearance of your tan. Do NOT moisturize after your shower. Moisturizing will add another layer to your skin and potentially clog your pores which will make it difficult for the tanning solution to penetrate your skin.
